Qatar Airways Alcohol in Economy

So, does Qatar Airways serve alcohol in Economy Class?

As mentioned, yes, they do. Even though Qatar Airways operates out of Qatar, a Muslim country, alcohol is served in all classes onboard their flights. Whether you just want a glass of wine with dinner or a nice cocktail afterwards, you can order it from the crew.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the meals in Economy, and happily enjoyed my red wine with it. Of course, I preferred the service in Business Class, but who wouldn’t?

Beer and wine is usually free of charge in Economy Class, especially on long-haul flights. Drinks and cocktails must be purchased. This is similar to my recent experience with Discover Airlines Premium Economy.

Does Qatar Airways Serve Alcohol During Ramadan?

Yes, they do.

In short, the crew does not go around the flight checking who is fasting and who is not, nor do they check people’s religious affiliation. So, anyone can order a drink on board their flight with Qatar.
