Shop My Favourite Travel Gadgets

I often get asked what my favourite travel resources and gadgets are, so I decided to gather them all up in this neat little collection. If you have any questions on how any of these travel gadgets and accessories could help you, make sure to shoot me an e-mail!

Regardless of where I travel to, whether it’s a city or a beach destination, I bring pretty much all of these with me. Some are specifically what I would call a ‘beach gadget’ (like the waterproof case for my Kindle so I can read on on the beach or by the pool), while others are airplane essentials. At the bottom, I have also included a list of my favourite resources for travel blogging. So make sure you read to the bottom!

Now, if you have landed on this page because you are shopping for gifts for someone who loves to travel or who is planning a trip abroad, you’ll want to check out this post with travel gift ideas – perfect for Christmas, birthdays, or any other occasion!

My favourite travel gadgets

Technology & Tech Accessories

Canon EOS M3

This is my go to camera, and one of my favourite blogging and travel investments in 2017. Not only do I have beautiful memories to share from my trips, but my ‘Gram game has seriously improved too.

GoPro (any of them)

My GoPro is one of my most prized possesions, and I am as in love with it today as I was when I got my first one 3 years ago. I bring it to the beach, to waterparks, skiing, paddleboarding and so much more. It’s even fun for just playing around in a pool!

SkyRoam

This little gadget allows you to connect to the internet wherever you are! You can connect up to 5 devices as well! Completely genious for those who need to stay connected.

Canon Lens – 18-55mm

I’ll be honest and say that this is the lens that came with my camera, haha. I absolutely love it, and it is perfect for both landscape shots and those blurred background ‘blogger’ photos.

Telescopic GoPro Selfie Stick

I absolutely love this one, and it is so cheap as well! Perfect for those shots when you are alone with no one to take your photos. It is also my favourite thing to bring diving, as it is telescopic/retractable. This allows me to not only get awesome shots of myself underwater, but also to get close-ups of those animals I’d rather not get too close to (looking at you, lionfish!)

Tripod

A good tripod is a must for travelling, especially for those travelling alone! Even if you are with a group of friends, this will allow you to set up your shot and make sure everyone is in it!

Waterproof Phone Case

This little gadget is ideal for bringing your phone to the beach, pool or waterpark. Definitely a beach gadget you should have on your list!

Kindle

A Kindle is one of my absolute top recommendations for travellers! Since getting mine last year I constantly had to leave books behind in hotel rooms, simply because I didn’t have enough luggage space for all the books I would devour by the pool (I can easily read 4-5 books on a 2 week holiday).

Apple MacBook

I have had my MacBook for 6 years now, and it is still going strong. To me, no computer can compare, and I strongly recommend it!

Luggage and storage

Moleskine Classic Leather Backpack

I use my Moleskine backpack as handluggage on trips where I also have a suitcase as a carry-on. It perfectly fits my MacBook, camera gear and airplaine essentials.

ECBC Backpack

This packback is an absolute godsend for weekend breaks, and I use it when I’m going away without bothering to bring an extra suitcase. It fits absolutely EVERYTHING, and is full of handy little rooms for all gadgets and accessories. It also has a neat little trick on the back that allows you to go through airport security without removing your laptop!

River Island Carry-on Suitcase

I have had my RI suitcase for several years, and I am dreading the day it breaks down on me, as I no longer live in London with River Island at my doorstep. It is not only super stylish, but also easy to roll and fits everything I need.

A Brightly-Coloured Suitcase

Gone are the days when I cannot recognise my own suitcase at the luggage belt. I always make sure to pick out a suitcase that is instantly recognisable amongst all the black and red.

Packing Cubes

I only recently discovered these babies, and can’t believe I haven’t sooner! Packing is, as you all may know, and activity I loathe – but these sure make it easier!

A cute luggage tag

Another thing making it easier to find my suitcase at the luggage belt. This also ensures that my suitcase makes it back to me if it is ever lost *knock on wood*.

Airplane essentials

Noise-cancelling Headphones

These are a lifesaver on noisy planes. You’ll be able to sleep like a baby all the way to your destination.

Inflatable Neck Pillow

I love these, and it is an absolute must that they are inflatable! This way I can not only wrap them up in my bag before and after boarding, but I can also make sure that they are the perfect fit at all times.

‘Clarity Pouch’ from Truffle

Gone are the days of ugly plastic bags. This little baby allows you to bring your liquids in style, and ensures that you keep the rest of your belongings dry. Also; it’s really cute!

Eye mask and earplugs

Honestly, how do you even sleep on a plane without?

External Charger

For those long flights without the possibility to charge all your gadgets via USB.

Collapsible Waterbottle

This is absolutely genious, and allows you to pack up your bottle before security, filling it up once inside, and packing it back down once you’re done drinking. It takes up minimal space, and saves you some $$$.
