Sharing is caring!

This is something I am really excited to share, as it has been in the works for quite some time now. Over the past few months, since launching Fjords & Beaches, I have been thinking a lot about my goals and aspirations for the site. Do I want to use it as a way to express my thoughts and ideas about traveling? Kind of. Is Fjords & Beaches simply a platform for me to share my latest adventures and travel advice? I guess. Do I want to build a killer online space that will inspire people to get out and travel more? Hell yes. And so it went, until I realised the main reason I am here (in this online space, I mean).

Yes, you. I am here because I want to not only inspire you, but to help you! My favourite posts on this blog are the ones that are most beneficial to you, dear reader, not just myself. I loved writing this post about how you can manage to travel as a full time student, and even went ahead and made free PDF’s for you to download in order to guide you further along the path of making the most of your life balancing lectures, coursework and exams while traveling. I still smile every time someone shares or comments on my guide to visiting the Sognefjord in the winter, or this guide to planning a weekend break by the fjords.

Travel Planning Series Make the Most of your travels

The Purpose of Fjords & Beaches

With all this new thinking I have been doing, I have been able to define the goal and purpose of this blog. You are all here because you love to and dream of travel. Some of you are frequent travelers who explore the world around you more often than myself, while some of you are wanderlusters at home in need of some hefty advice on how to make your travel dreams come true. You all have your own wishes and needs when it comes to your future adventures, and that’s where I come in!

So, here’s the quick bio-slash-purpose of Fjords & Beaches! On Fjords & Beaches I share travel guides and inspiration to save you time and effort so you can make the most of your travels!

Notice that highlighted part there?

Make the Most of your Travels

I made that a header so you won’t forget it. My goal here is to help you make the most of your adventures, through sharing helpful guides, nifty tricks, and travel hacks, and in general inspiring you to continue exploring the world!

Reading the posts and articles on Fjords & Beaches should leave you with ideas on how to save time and money when planning your next trip. The destination pieces should give you an idea of what to do and see on your next trip, so you don’t have to spend as much time researching and figuring it out yourself. I want to share the best guides, my favourite tools and resources and lots of awesome travel hacks.
