If you’re anything like me, you love trying to keep up with the Kardashians, especially on their adventures abroad. Considering the insane amount of followers they have on social media, I know I’m not the only one who wishes they could travel like a Kardashian. From family ziplining in Thailand (#nextonthelist) to Kim losing her earring in Bora Bora, they’ve had their fair share of adventures on their trips. Say what you like about the US Royal Family, but they never fail to entertain. They never fail to leave me with a serious case of FOMO either, but that’s a story for another day.
So I decided to do some serious Insta-stalking research, and have come up with some helpful pointers straight from the source itself. You’re welcome.
How to Travel like a Kardashian
According to their respective Instagrams.
Wear awesome Insta-worthy outfits
Make sure you always look your best, otherwise there’s no point showing off how great of a time you are having. And if you didn’t post it on social media, did you even go to Barbados? Traveling like a Kardashian includes serious photoshoots whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Find a yacht, always
Make sure you spend at least an entire day soaking up the sun on a yacht. Beaches are for normal people. And we all love a good boat day, right?
Stay only in the best hotels
If your room didn’t cost $12’000 a night, it probably sucks. The Kardashians know how to pamper themselves, so if you want to travel like a Kardashian – you have to sleep like a Kardashian. End of story.
Bring the entire family
It’s no fun if someone stays behind, and you’ll miss out on all the great Insta-opportunities if you don’t go. You should go to Greece even if you’re fat.
This is a given, but I figured it had to be said. Make sure you have your own plane, otherwise you’ll be extra jet lagged. If someone’s schedule is too busy, book a separate plane for them.
If you don’t want to participate, cry
This is my favourite way of getting out of things. Works every time.
Lots and lots of selfies
When Khloé called Kim out for taking too many selfies on one of their trips, my life was made. Still, it seems to be their go-to way to pass the time.
Don’t wear your expensive jewellery
This video speaks for itself.
Bring your sense of humour
Speaking as someone who comes from a big family, too; there is no way you can survive a family holiday without being able to handle a joke.
Do the most
Seriously, do everything and anything you can – no matter where you go. Doing nothing and staying by the pool is no way to experiencing the world, so make sure you head out there!
Raise your hand if your party trick, too, is to name them all in chronological order, including the Disick and West children.
