Love This Hotel: Warwick Dubai

The Warwick, Dubai

On my recent trip to Dubai, my friends and I discovered the Warwick Dubai via I always spend a significant amount of time researching hotels and areas before going traveling, especially when I’m visiting a city or country for the first time. I’m a sucker for good deals, and will always choose comfort over anything else. The Warwick was one of the first hotels that caught my eye, and after a bit of research, we decided it was the perfect place for us!

The building is part of the stunning Dubai skyline, and it is incredibly fun to be able to point to it in postcards to say that “that’s where I’ve stayed!” – this also resulted in the most stunning views of the city.

We checked in to the Warwick incredibly early, and were surprised with a room upgrade as our chosen room was not ready for us. It’s not hard to imagine that we couldn’t have been happier, and when we first saw the view from the 38th floor I believe we actually screamed. That’s what you get for brining three girls on holiday.

Our room was absolutely stunning, and I could have stayed there for ever. Naturally, I threw myself over a blog post right away, while admiring the world’s tallest building.

The first thing we noticed about the hotel, apart from its decadence and stylish interior, was how incredibly helpful the staff were. As we arrived so early, we truly had no expectations as to whether we would get our room or not, but Christine in the reception truly went above and beyond when she saw our tired faces. She could have easily dismissed us and offered to store our luggage until check-in, but instead she made sure that we had somewhere to rest after our long flight. We were so grateful to her.

The Warwick is located right on Sheikh Zayed Road, with easy access to all of Dubai. It is a large motorway, so the most convenient way of transport is by taxi or rental car. Approximately 50 metres from the hotel is the Financial Centre Metro Station, so if you’re traveling on a budget, no problem!

Not gonna lie, on our flight to Dubai we got to talking with a frequent visitor of the city, who told us that we hadn’t chosen the ideal location for our short stay. He said that there wasn’t much to see, and that we would have to plan how to get everywhere. We didn’t actually find this to be true at all! Alas, we did have to catch taxis to get everywhere (except for Starbucks, which is right next door), but it didn’t feel like an effort at all. The kind staff at the front of the hotel had a taxi ready and waiting for us every time we stepped foot out the door.

The first day we headed up to the pool, which is conveniently located on the rooftop of the building. There you will also find a bar and lounge, serving cocktails and snacks all day. We spent one evening in the lounge, drinking cocktails and playing cards – feeling like we were right out of the Sex and the City movie.

The hotel also has a buffet restaurant where you will find the breakfast to end all breakfasts. I have never been so full in my life, and still had to go back for seconds. You will also find more restaurants, a sports bar and a spa in the hotel, which we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to try.

In conclusion, if you stay at the Warwick Dubai, it isn’t really necessary to leave the hotel. You have all the amenities you need, and I’m sure I could stay there for weeks without getting bored.

Check out their website and Instagram, and don’t forget to make your booking!

I received discounts for in-hotel purchases from the Warwick during my stay, but all opinions are my own and I would not include a hotel in my 'Love This Hotel' range if I didn't truly mean it. Post contains affiliate links.

This hotel looks amazing, I can’t believe you got that upgrade! Lucky!!

    • It really lives up to the photos as well! We were so happy πŸ™‚ Thanks for commenting, Kathryn!

  • Now I have to go to Dubai for real πŸ˜‰ The place looks amazing! I love the pool pic. When I went to Sao Paulo in Brazil I’d take a taxi everywhere because I was told getting around on my own would be unsafe. I agree with you, it really isn’t such a big problem to use a taxi sometimes. In some countries it’s not very expensive either. Going back to daydreaming about Dubai now πŸ˜‰

    • You sure do, Eleanna! We were so relaxed and lucky to find the Warwick! I felt so at ease with the taxis there, and even walking around πŸ™‚ I’d love to visit Sao Paulo one day, I’m sure it was amazing? πŸ™‚

      • Yes it was! The sea, the food, the jungle! Hope you can go πŸ™‚

        • Me too! I’m sure I’ll get there one day, it seems perfect! πŸ™‚

I literally got lost in this post and all of the beautiful pictures! I love when I can read and look at a travel blog and feel as if I am there! I went on the Warwick Dubai website, which also had great information about places to go. ( I have a lovely downloaded guide to Dubai– but.., information overload!) After seeing the amazing hotel views from your pictures- combined with the pictures on their website, I don’t even want to think about staying in the regular room! Thank you for sharing!

    • I’m so happy to hear that, Tiffany! Their website is awesome, too – all though I booked through πŸ™‚ It was amazing to relax in such a nice room after getting away from the heat and hustle of the city πŸ™‚ Thanks for leaving a comment!
